Tuesday afternoon.

Rob Gray just got back from Ames.

I didn't make it up.

I've been feeling a little under the weather here today, mostly kind of yesterday,

but hoping to get better Rutter man hoping to learn how to talk for one thing but

also learning how hoping to get back on the mend in time to cover Saturday's game

Iowa State and Oklahoma State up in Ames. The only team that has beat Iowa State during the month of October in the last four years,

the only team to beat Brock Purdy at Jack Trice Stadium, the only big 12 team, excuse me, to beat

Rock Purdy at Jack Trice Stadium. Rob Gray, it sounds like everybody's excited for what should be a huge game on Saturday in Ames and obviously a ton of respect from the Iowa State side for everything that that Oklahoma State does and you know I know that Coach Campbell there was the question today about his conversations with Coach

Gundy, it sounds like he really enjoys getting a chance to talk to him.

Talk to the mullet, man.

Yeah, yeah, it must be an entertaining conversation I'd imagine, but yeah, I mean,

Oklahoma State, the thorn in the side. I mean, ironically enough, it also the team that Brock Purdy became Brock Purdy you know and then and

in that huge comeback win where he replaced Nolan, who would eventually transfer

at North Dakota State and now he's in South Carolina State

as a grad assistant and then he just pulled off a big comeback

win against Vandy for the Gamecocks last weekend.

So interesting, interesting story lines all around, but I think

Brock is one of the big ones because I asked them about probably how many highs has been asked about that first game.

Obviously, he was asked the next week.

Then he'd be asked every successive game against Oklahoma State and probably some other time.
