Let's get into the mix.

Here are your Washington headlines of the day.

Number one, we've got the latest on government funding. Can the Senate get a deal? That's a big question. Number two, Speaker Johnson's new headache. And number three, Cotton's PAC's readout on ICE and immigration enforcement. All right, Jake, let's get into it. Of course, all eyes are on the Senate and this deal that is being negotiated.

There was potentially thought that a vote could happen last night.

That did not.

We've got one of Trump's biggest allies, Lindsay Graham, pumping the brakes a little bit here.

Yeah, the White House and Senate Democrats had an agreement on a CR for DHS, Department of Homeland Security, for two weeks,

basically until the President's Day recess in February, because who doesn't like putting a

deadline against a recess to screw up people's plans? Because that's what the House and the Senate do.

They screw up people's plans all the time. Not bitter. Everything is awesome.

Never, never happened to you, though.
