It is right now, it's 459 a.m. in Washington at 446 just a couple minutes ago.

The Senate passed in skinny budget resolution after a nearly 10-hour voterama.

What a night.

It doesn't get, guys, it doesn't get more exciting than this.

A bunch of amendments that failed, non-binding amendments, some amendments that passed for a resolution that they're

going to have to change in just a couple of days. What a world we live in. There are two ways to look at

this resolution, and this is something we put a lot of thought into over the last 12 hours,

more like 20 hours, but the resolution is out of step with what Trump wants. He wants the one big,

beautiful bill, as Mike Johnson keeps saying. He hopes Republicans rally around that. He likes the

fact that his entire agenda will be passed in one piece of legislation. He doesn't want to wait on

tax cuts. He thinks

the House. He rightly thinks the House is a mess. So, like, why would he doubt what Mike Johnson

can and can't do? I think that's, you know, broadly speaking, a fair assumption. And he just wants the one big beautiful bill. But Senate Republicans
