Summary

The final episode of our independent book stores 10 part mini series takes us to Letterfrack and another outlet of Books At One. Mary Ruddy gives Jarlath a look inside the shop, the rich history of its location and how she came to run the store with her husband Vincent Murphy. Like it’s sister store in Louisburgh, the books store that started this series, the Letterfrack branch is more than just a book retailer. Mary talks to Jar about her previous life, her publishing company Artisan and the task of founding a local radio station. Finally Jarlath fondly looks back across the series and urges us one final time to go and seek out these gems wherever they can be found. 1:09.6	Mary, because we started the series of Books at One in Lusberg.
1:13.5	So I thought maybe the best way to kick things off is to find out your story and how the letter

1:23.1	Well, first of all, Jarrett, it's a real privilege to be on your podcast.
1:27.7	They're fabulous series that you've done done and I've heard some of them.
1:32.0	I suppose the background to it is we're based in LetoFRAC and we are publishers under the name of Artisan House publishers.
1:41.4	We've been publishing since 2013 and we used to supply our books to
1:46.9	books at one in Luzberg and really loved visiting that bookshop. You know, it has such a
1:53.0	really welcoming atmosphere and we had a lovely relationship with them. And then maybe some years
1:58.6	later, maybe in 2017 or 18 or so, we read an article around
