or the deeper understanding which is there is no time but now. Have you ever experienced anything other than now. Just ask yourself. If you're having a

thought about the future, it's happening now. If you're having a thought

about the past, it's happening now.

That's why the great wisdom traditions say,

now never ends.

Now is actually not even a moment in time.

It's the presence of being in which time unfolds has

experience, but being itself is always now.

The present moment is the presence of what we call awareness of pure consciousness or just presence, the presence of presence is always now.

And this is the purpose of yoga as well.

The word yoga as I've said before means union, union with the self, which is always now.

Yoga is union with the self which is always now. Now there are many kinds of yoga,

Gyan yoga, the path of knowledge which opens up as a result of being in touch with the mystery of our own existence, with the wonder of our own existence.

Gyan Yoga is also frequently referred to as reflective self-inquarie asking questions like who am I what do I want

What's my purpose? What am I grateful for? What can I do to make a difference? How can I serve?

Bakti Yoga is the second path,

and that is the part of devotion,

filled with sweetness and love and compassion and joy.
