One of the fun things about rewriting is the fact that your daily word counts

I can't help an evil chuckle of glue when I check my count at the end of each day,

and see that I've tripled, or even quadrupled, the 800 to 1,000 words I usually call a good day.

that I'm not really clocking that many words a day. If I'm lucky half of those are new editions.
