1:36.5	to build and launch the bowl-shaped probe back in 2003.
1:40.6	The mission that Beagle was supposed to do was to be a lander to go to Mars, to land on the surface,
1:46.1	look for signs of life on Mars. And so there were a number of different instruments on board to help with that,
1:52.3	including images but also X-ray fluorescence and other techniques of analysis.
1:58.0	But it was just a fantastic project to be involved with.
2:02.0	Successful launch, of course, in 2003, and we were all so excited about the possibility of
2:08.0	not only getting into orbit around Mars with the Mars Express orbiter, but getting to the surface as well.
