Hey everybody and welcome to the Rob Leifeld show featuring Rob Observations.

I am your host Rob Leifeld.

I have been making comics for five decades, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, the 2020s, across five decades, 40 years.

I love comic books.

Anybody in my family will tell you that after family,

they are my favorite thing to talk about, to consume,

discuss, to parse, to create.

And they caught me when I was a young

kid, comic books just caught me up in their fever. And I have never, ever been able to shake

them. They are just, uh, part of my daily routine, my daily diet. They are part of my daily

obsession, uh, whether it's a comic book that's out right now or it's a comic book from my youth, the yesteryear, my teenage years.

I just love the language and the storytelling.

And I love all the different formats.

You know, there's landscape additions now.

There's the hardcover, the slip case.

It's just, it's such an incredible art form, an American art form, something we should be so proud of.

And we celebrate the incredible comic book creators, the people who contributed to the legacy of comic comic books and that is what this show has always done

that's what this show will continue to do hopefully and it has been my experience as i have met so

many of you as i as as as even recently in my signings over in golden apple in los angeles when we did

the young blood 33rd anniversary.

And just recently in Scottsdale, Arizona, where hundreds of people showed up on a sweltering hot day,

packed it into fantasy, fantastic worlds, comics.
