With every new generation, the church works to find new ways to reach and relate to young people.

Different movements and fads have sought to answer the question,

what is the secret to reaching the next generation for Christ?

And although this instinct isn't bad, the real answer might be both easier and harder than we think.

My guest today is Kevin DeYoung, and he shares his answer to that question, a question he's been

asked many times over the years. While acknowledging the rise of the nuns and the increasing

power and influence of technology over young people's lives, the young

encourages pastors and youth leaders to remember that our fundamental mission as believers has

not changed, and that reaching the next generation will not be done through relevant pop

culture references or harnessing the power of the newest social media platform, but rather
