It feels like I should have this figured out by now. And by this, I mean this thing that we call

life. I recently told my friends it feels like I'm going through a

quarter life crisis every single week and I'm only 23. One moment I know exactly who I am, where I

want to go, what I want to do. And then the next I'm questioning my entire existence. Ask myself,

what is my purpose? What's the point of all of this, and what even matters? Shout out

Lauren Hill. Growing up, it seemed as if all the adults just live with a sense of certainty

and had it all figured out. Subsequently, coming into adulthood, I put pressure on myself to live

to that same standard. So any questions, concerns, or doubts I had weren't just seen as a normal part of the

human experience that became a mark of shame, failure, and disappointment. Because there's no way

I'm doing this adulting thing right and still feeling all of this at the same time. But I've soon

come to realize that no one actually knows what they're

doing, no matter how hard they try to fake it. So I'm starting to rethink this. Maybe life isn't

about reaching this euphoric destination of complete certainty, but a forever discovery of the unexplored

parts of who we are.
