Turn to John Chapter. Well that was horrible.

John Chapter 15 were in a series entitled, Revealing the Mystery, and we're talking about revealing

the mystery of Jesus through the eyes of John, going through the Book of John.

If you weren't here for the beginning of the series you may want to go back and get John chapter one and why we're going through the book of John that it is a gospel but it is not a synoptic gospel. It's different from Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and it has its own special uniqueness

to it. And so I want you to go through that. Now, you have homework every week, and your homework

is to read the chapter that I preach on.

For instance, this week it will be to read John 15 and to read the next chapter I'm going to preach on, John

chapter 16.

So last week you had homework and it's been a while since I've given you a pop quiz to see

if you've done your homework. But I'm going to let you, I want to be gracious to you this week.

And I'm not going to do a pop quiz today, but I'm letting you know next week you will have a quiz I'm going to ask you next week I'm going to say

how many of you did your homework in other words read John 15, John 16.

I want to ask you and you'll, I want to raise your hand.

And then I'm going to say, now for those of you that did not do your homework,

I want you to stand up and sing the National Anthem. So I'm letting you know right now, but you need to do your

homework this week, all right? And don't skip church next week, don't skip class. If you don't do

your homework, all right? I won't have you stand up I'm just

joking with you but I I want you to read the Bible all right this week we're on talking

John 15 the secret of success. John 15 verse 1. I am the true vine and my father is the

vine dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away and every branch that bears fruit he prunes that it may bear more fruit.

You are already clean because of the word which I spoke to you.

I just want you to notice, verse 3 doesn't even seem to fit in this.
