Summary

Hello from Carmel Valley Ranch! This week is a very special episode because your girls are TOGETHER (kinda) recording live from Caitlin's Hatchlorette Trip in Carmel Valley, CA! The girls discuss how the drive together went, the latest Bravo drama, postpartum intimacy and more before a *quick* intermission to tend to some bees. Then they return NEW WOMEN ready to escape modern life to follow Bailey the Beekeeper and his incredibly soft hands, leaving behind toxic, looksmaxing straight (or are they?) men behind. The girls also discuss their favorite way to decompress in the morning as children and dissect the recent (kinda) Bachelorette drama. We love you so much, thank you for listening, rating and reviewing! If you're into dogs, check out the Youtube this week (or maybe don't???) for an extra convo!  As Always: Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!) Rachael's Instagram Watch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!) Oh, my God.

0:23.1

We're coming in 25 minutes now that we've been trying to connect.

0:29.1

Yeah. And also I just got an alert that said a teleprompter is being shared with you,

0:32.9

as if you've spent this time writing scripts for me that I need to read from my teleprompter.

0:37.9

Did not. I can tell you that I did not do that. Okay. Guys, Rachel and I are together. Technically

0:46.0

in different rooms, though. Together but not. Together but not. But we are on My Hatch Lorette, which is just a really nice way to tell our husbands,

0:58.9

we don't want to be around you on a vacation level. We'd rather be with each other.

1:03.6

Exactly. And I actually really love this idea. So we came down to Carmel Valley. We're staying at Carmel Valley Ranch, which is so nice. I've actually

1:11.2

been here with my husband and family. And that's really great too. It is very family friendly and

1:16.2

kid friendly. But, you know, sometimes you really just need to get away. You just the girls,

1:22.4

you know? You just need girl time. And I actually love the idea of doing, I know a lot of people do baby moons. I know you've

1:28.8

done a baby moon. I did a baby moon. But when you have subsequent kids and you don't have like

1:34.4

the ability to leave your kids and go on a baby moon with your husband, what better solution?

1:40.3

Well, you know what I realized too? It's like you're going to keep seeing your, you're going to see more of your partner after you have a baby than you've ever wanted. You're going to see each other at times of the night you shouldn't be seeing each other. Two a.m. 3 a.m. 4 a.m. etc. You know who you're not going to see is your friend. Exactly. So that's what you got to get in. Such a good point.

2:01.9

You got to get in that girl time.

2:03.1

Yeah.

2:10.2

Now, Rachel did mention off the top that we have been trying to record this podcast for conservatively 45 minutes.

2:14.3

And you are now, do you even have your phone on a tripod?

2:15.9

Are you holding your phone out?

2:17.2

I'm holding it. You're going to hold it for a whole hour

2:19.2

your arm's going to be dead well we're not recording for a whole hour because we have beekeeping at 11 we're in a tight

2:24.8

timeline that's so true i will say one of the bigger tech issues was that rachel's mike simply wasn't on
