This evening we are returning to the secret garden,

but before that, let's relax for a moment.

Stay very still and continue to take deep breaths while you think about every part of your body,

from your toes to the top of your head.

Acknowledge its existence and how it feels before moving on to the next path.

Starting with your toes and working your way slowly up, making sure every part of your body is fully relaxed. Next. helped Mary distinguish everything in the garden that was Wick and the things that could

be cut away to let the living plants thrive.

Using her new gardening tools and his knowledge of nature

they worked hard all morning, clearing and weeding and turning the earth to allow the air in. Before lunch, Mary told Dickon he was among the five people she liked in her life, and he told her that he liked her too.

She had to run in, but he promised that he would stay a while and come back tomorrow.

But after her dinner, Martha told her that Mr Craven was home for a short time

and wanted to see her.
