This evening we are returning to the secret garden.

But before that, let's take a minute to prepare for a restful sleep.

As you settle down from a long day,

notice how nice and relaxing it feels

to close your eyes.

Begin to breathe evenly in through your nose and out through your mouth.

With each mindful breath,

you are calming your body and your mind. You are melting away the stresses of the day, and you are slowing down, ready for sleep.

Keeping your eyes closed.

Focus on your environment. Think about all the things you can hear and feel and release any thoughts that might be creeping into your mind about today or tomorrow.

Always come back to your breath.

And when you feel ready,

drift your focus to the sound of my voice
