For quite some time, there's been a strong connection between hockey and beer.

Yeah, like, remember that video where Alex Ovechkin's chugging beer out of the Stanley

Cup?

I do remember that.

And, you know, especially back in the old days of hockey, drinking was very much part

of the culture of the game.

And of course, that wasn't always for the best.

A lot of guys developed drinking problems.

These days, though, a growing number of players are apparently turning to harder drugs,

especially cocaine and molly, according to a new report from the Athletics Katie Strang.

Today, Katie joins us to talk about why those drugs are especially attractive to NHL players

and what the league is and isn't doing to prevent the abuse.
