Well, what a few days we have had.

Cathardic for me at least, hopefully enlightening and validating and empowering for you.

You thought these super-chievers that you admired were divinely inspired, but now have discovered

it was their dysfunction that motivated them.

You thought that they had unshakable confidence, but now know that they suffer the same self-doubt

that we all do.

You thought that they were naturally gogarious with bright light personalities, but now

realize that most are actually shy and introverted.

You thought that they were supremely disciplined and steadfast, but now know that they're actually

lazy and simply found strategies and systems to get leverage over themselves.

In the last dirty little secret, it's easy to think that these amazing humans who have

done the seemingly miraculous, achieving inconceivable physical feats, igniting a renaissance

in art, transcending their profession, denting the universe, and moving human progress forward

are great in every area of their life.

But the truth is, they probably suck at 99.9% of everything.

Oh sure, they might be a Hall of Fame athlete, a superstar entertainer, decorated Olympian,

celebrated CEO or a charismatic nation builder, but outside that one thing, they are known

for, chances are they're not so hot.
