Summary

In episode 461 astrologers Chris Brennan and Leisa Schaim do an in-depth exploration of the meaning of the second house in astrology, and explain what it signifies in a birth chart by looking at dozens of celebrity examples. In traditional astrology the second house is associated with the material world, and encompasses topics such as money, possessions, livelihood, and financial stability. It represents the descent into the material realm, because the second house is the sign that follows the rising sign, and in the whole sign house system it is the first sign after the Ascendant that is fully submerged under the earth.
