| 0:00.0 | Look, Matt, your walkishness is not going to defeat the dark psychic energy. |
| 0:05.0 | I agree with that. Talking about dark psychic energy also isn't going to defeat the dark psychic energy. |
| 0:24.4 | Hello and welcome to another episode of the Weeds on the Vox Media Podcast Network. |
| 0:27.8 | I'm Matthew Glacias, joined today by Ezra Klein to do another review of the grueling |
| 0:33.4 | Democratic Party debate schedule. I think we both watched what was it like 17 hours of debates over |
| 0:39.3 | the past two days? Many hours of debates. A lot. And we were just chatting before this, |
| 0:45.6 | and it was interesting because there was a lot of debate. There was a lot of time, |
| 0:50.8 | and there was almost weirdly little discussion of the fact that Donald Trump is the President of |

| 1:44.6 | form of liberalism or Elizabeth Warren's form of liberalism or Bernie Sanders's form of democratic |
| 1:49.1 | socialism. And that would be really interesting if that was the choice. But what's actually |
| 1:56.1 | happening is this is going to be a choice between a democratic and Donald Trump. And what is |
| 2:01.7 | absolutely not happening on that stage is any discussion of Donald Trump's policies. So you're not |
| 2:07.6 | hearing about his health care policies. You're not hearing very much at all about his tax cuts. |
| 2:12.0 | It's come up glancingly at best. You've heard a little bit about his immigration policy, but not in |
