And you've got shit to do. It's still dark outside. And since you're already up, you might as well take advantage of the situation and beat the crowd to the grocery store.

They've been short on everything lately. Thanks to separatists in northern California, most nuts are basically unavailable. Rebel insurgents have been bombing highways in West Texas so beef is way up. You don't tend to buy much meat these days anyway though. All the blackouts make your fridge unreliable and you can't afford to spend money on stuff that goes bad.
