So we're talking on Friday, June 3rd at 10 a.m.

And it's been not that long since we've spoken,

but so many things have happened.

I have no idea what you want to talk about today.

Well, let's talk about what happened in Yevaldi, all right?

Okay.

So remember on May 24th, an 18-year-old entered Robe School in Yuvaldy, Texas.

And Yuvalday is a small city in Texas, west of San Antonio,

and it's about 80 miles from the US-Mexico border.

And the gunman killed two teachers and 19 children.

And all of the children were just 9, 10, or 11 years old.

And law enforcement officials eventually shot and killed a gunman.

Now, Yevaldi was the deadliest mass shooting at a school

since the murders of 20 first graders and six adults at

Sandy Hook, Sandy Hook Elementary School in New Town, Connecticut. That was

2012.

But it wasn't even the only deadly mass shooting

within the last 10-day period before then.

Because on May 15th, a man opened fire at a church in Laguna Woods, California. He injured five people and killed one person.

And then on May 14th, an 18-year-old opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York.

He wounded three people and killed 10.

And mass shootings continued in the US after Yvaldi, too.
