Podcasting played nobody I have a question for you why would the playoff selection committee even bother with creating a 25 team list

Before you answer that I just want to point out like in what universe and I'm not I'm not against this but our beloved Iowa State cyclones with three losses right Texas A&M three losses

It's always fun to see a ranking in this sport.

We do it a lot.

But what is the point of 25 teams when you know there's like a realistic chance for I don't know seven

teams on this list what's the point well a how else are you going to find out

how many top 25 wins you have if you don't have 25 teams?

And we know that they lean on that stupid.

Even though you know, you could have one, one week and then zero the next because one of the teams you beat lost or something

Lean on that as one of their little things they either lean on it as part of their ranking teams or at least they

lean on it for justifying rankings, but we know they do that. And the other thing, I mean, the one justification

for it and to justify it in this way, you have to justify that there are weekly rankings and the weekly rankings are stupid and unjustifiable.

But if you have them, then you basically have to show who's also in contention for the New Year's six bowls.

And if you have a top 25... also in contention for the New Year Six Bowls.

And if you have a top 25, you can, you know,

New Year Six, that's 12 teams involved.

That's half the top 25.

You can show some teams that are in contention.

And I guess you can hope that at least there's at least

one group of five team involved so you can say who the show who the leader is in that race.
