Podcast ain't played nobody. Bill, I thought things were supposed to get smarter when we actually had football to talk about. I thought the content was going to be rich and varied. I thought we were going to examine the specificities of this fine sport and get away from the stupid things

that people fill radio time with in March and apparently the southeastern conference is dead.

Yeah I have no idea why you would have thought that. I don't think we have any evidence on our side.

Week one is when we reach drastic concrete conclusions about everything, and then 98% of those conclusions are proven wrong a month later.

But this, you know, this is the SEC's dead.

Texas is a playoff contender.

Houston is as good as in the playoffs already and yeah so I mean it's just cancel the season

we already know it's no hope now because in in recorded history

Oklahoma has never sustained an early season loss and then made it back into title contention.

Yeah, or they did that last year.

Texas Notre Dame was certainly the most watchable affair. The biggest problem with

Florida State and Old Miss was that a good portion of it felt like well let me

back up a good portion of it looked like a fatal complete as Old Miss ran the score up in the second quarter.

I, having some experience with Old Miss, knew a certain inevitability would wash over the rebels.

It's called not having a run game.

And I think a lot of people may have checked out.

I think people get fatigued too after a three day weekend in general.
