with the series called Growing in the Seasons of Life. And in these messages, Rick's going to share

biblical wisdom that you need to live your best life no matter what stage you're in.

Hey, let's join Rick right now with part one of a

message called the season of loss. Now, life is full of losses. It's sobering when you think

about the fact that absolutely nothing around you is permanent. Absolutely nothing around you is permanent.

And you will go through seasons of tragedy, seasons of grief, seasons of loss,

where you have a disaster that takes away something that's very important to you.

You can lose your finances.

You can lose your job. Anybody want to give a testimony?

You can lose your job. You can lose your health. You can lose your marriage. And one thing that is inevitable with all of us,

you'll lose loved ones that you care about who die.

You may not be in a season of loss right now, but your time's coming.

And so this message today for many of you is preventative.

It's to prepare you for the inevitable seasons of life that are going to come now we're going to look at five

principles five keys or steps to how to recover from life's losses when you get

in the season and you're going to hear a story of a woman who lost literally everything

in the matter of about an hour or two. But you need to understand some basic things about life

before we can even look at these five steps to recovery. You see, it's very obvious that life is

unfair. Life is not a fairy tale where they live happily ever after.

That just doesn't happen in most people's lives.

In fact, the Bible is very honest about it.
