Comparison.

It is something that we all do and feel often.

We compare how we look, what we do, or what we have,

instead of just being secure in who God made us,

and who we are in Christ.

Well, today and tomorrow, Joyce wants to help us stop comparing ourselves to others and to be

anchored in Christ in this two-part message, the search for self-worth. So dig into today's

teaching, really pay attention, and don't forget to tune in tomorrow for the conclusion. Now,

All right, the search for self-worth. You know, everybody wants to know that they matter.

Everybody. And a lot of people feel they don't matter. They feel like they don't have any purpose. They don't know what their purpose is.

They don't know what their value is.

Why am I here?

What's this all about?

And so, if you happen to grow up in a dysfunctional atmosphere,

that makes it even worse.
