And today we are covering the search for Instagram's worst con artist.

This is a two-part documentary that is on Netflix right now.

So I'm just going to share a quick synopsis. Before launching a hit wellness app, blogger Bell

Gibson told her Instagram followers she had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Initially, given only four months to live,

Gibson miraculously survived for years, due in large part to her healthy diet and lifestyle.

As her popularity and net worth soared, she became an overnight success and a hero to many living

with cancer, except every part of Gibson's story was based on lies.

The dockey series, The Search for Instagram's Worst Con Artist, investigates Gibson's many claims,

as well as her rise and fall from the spotlight, all of which have inspired a different

Netflix show by the name of Apple Cider Vinegar with Caitlin Dever, which I guess is a somewhat

fictionalized version of this story.

I saw a preview for that.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And so they have the character, Bell Gibson, but then they have this other character whose name is Mila, something.

And she actually, I think, did have cancer and was doing the same kind of wellness, whatever.
