0:17.0	Last year, when we were covering the search for Gabby Petito, the 22-year-old travel blogger who went missing in Wyoming, the disappearance of the young geologist Daniel Robinson was brought to my attention.
0:41.0	At the time that Gabby disappeared, Daniel had been missing for 11 weeks or 79 days to be exact.
0:52.0	Those 79 days had been hell for David Robinson, Daniel's father and for the rest of his family.
1:01.0	After Daniel disappeared, David relocated from South Carolina to Arizona where Daniel had gone missing.
1:09.0	David was and is working tirelessly to follow any lead that might help him discover what happened to his son.
1:22.0	What we do know is that at approximately 9am on June 23rd, 2021, Daniel was leaving a worksite in the Buckeye Desert where he was testing the groundwater.
1:35.0	One of his co-workers saw him drive away in his 2017 blue-cheap renegade.
1:43.0	This was the last time anyone saw Daniel or at least anyone who has come forward with information.
1:51.0	Daniel's truck was later found abandoned and totaled in the desert, but no sign of Daniel.
1:59.0	There was a pile of clothes near the car, but no other indication that Daniel had been there.
2:08.0	Since his son's disappearance, David has scoured the desert where Daniel was last seen and where his truck was found.
2:17.0	Well, he has found many remains none are Daniels.
2:22.0	David has also discovered that his son's case is not as open and shut as the police initially believed.
