Summary
27-year-old Christie Wilson walks out of a California casino one October evening and disappears. She's last seen with Mario Garcia, a 53-year-old married father of two, who has a history of "stormy" relationships. Erin Moriarty takes you deeper into the 48 Hours episode, "The Search for Christie Wilson” through the lens of Garcia’s relationship history — including Wendy Ward, who faced his physical assault, Lynette Smith, who died mysteriously, and another woman who ended up at a battered women’s shelter. During the investigation, Garcia continually denies the accusations that he killed Christie even though DNA evidence ties him directly to her. Christie’s mother Debbie Boyd and detective Don Murchison vow to never stop fighting to find Christie.
