FSU is in the market for an offensive coordinator. Here as we record this on

what is it Wednesday afternoon where do things stand?

Florida State is still in search of an offensive coordinator.

We reported yesterday that there was really three names of interest

that I was ready to put out and that's Hugh Fries, Kendall Briels, and

Cliff Kingsbury, about eight hours after the article went up or maybe not even

eight hours after the article went up that explained Cliff Kingsbury was a long

shot, but just that somebody that we knew Florida State was going to at least reach out to to gauge interest as they should.

Briar, Kingsbury took the job at USC and was quickly off the board.

But even prior to that, we identified huge freeze,

former Ole Miss Head Coach Coach as the primary candidate.

I still believe that he is.

Kendall Brios was another name mentioned in there.

I still believe he's a name of interest. But as far as Hugh Fries goes, I mean,

Florida State walked into a situation that they're very familiar with, which is having

an offensive coordinator position open the same time as Alabama has an offensive

coordinator position open.

So we saw how that one worked out for Florida State last year.

It's tough to go head to head against Bama.
