And he came to die for sinners

so that whether you're a Jew or a Gentile, if you believed in the Messiah

and his work on the cross and his resurrection, you would become a true Jew. Why? Because the Messiah, when he died, opened the door wide to Jew and Gentile so that if they would believe in him, they would be grafted into the Abrahamic line, namely Jesus, and become true spiritual Jews, and therefore inherit all the promises made to Abraham and all the other prophets.
