co-host. My name is Kerry Mealstein and the other co-host is Lamar Newmire, who's joining me here

and Lamar, I'll let you introduce yourself. Hey, great to see you. My name's Lamar, and Kerry, we've been friends for a long time, and it was a long span in

between where we didn't talk, which is kind of funny.

We were originally board clerks at BYU, way back, and then in my senior year, I was

in your class. Yeah, that was the first class I ever

taught, you poor soul. Yeah, that was, yeah, fall of 94, first class I ever taught. I was my first

semester in grad school. And like you said, at the time, we were clerks together. And you had

no idea that you were all the biggest guinea pigs in the

world but i didn't advertise that and talk before yeah i didn't advertise that i knew that you were

just in your graduate program i knew that was that part was true but i i didn't know that you were

just teaching but anyway i liked your class very much and i had a chance to write a really fun paper

in your class where i got to talk to hugh nibbley and um anyway that was a really fun paper in your class where I got to talk to Hugh Nibley.

And anyway, that was a really fun class experience for me.

And then, of course, we go different ways, graduate, go different ways.

And one day I'm talking to my brother about some things.

He's like, oh, hey, there's this really great video I just saw

on the Book of Abraham, and you should get it. And there you were on YouTube. And I was like,

I know that guy. So I was like, I think every now and then we'd bumped into each other, you

always have such great scripture questions. And we've had just tons of gospel discussions.
