You meaning changing the black political power in the entire country by voting down or at least gutting the very thing that gave African Americans in this

country and many other minorities as well. Some equity as it relates to voting. Yeah,

that. You know, there's this mass dilution of black power here. I mean, this ruling, this Louisiana

ruling from the Supreme Court is, is insane. It is a, it is a, you know, what Kagan referred to as

kind of like a nail in the coffin to the voting rights act of, of 1965. We have Section 2 totally

eroded here, Alito effectively saying now that Section 2 requires intent of discrimination.

Like you can't challenge now racist voting policies. You need to actually establish intent.

So basically the person will need to declare, I hereby am racist and are pushing this law.

When in actuality, the 18, the 1982

amendment Congress pushed reverse that. So he's effectively overruling Congress here. And this is

the culmination of the, the Roberts Court, totally dismantling the 1965, you know, voting rights

act. And there's so many angles to it. But I'm just,

you know, I'm not, I'm not happy about it, Don. And I know you've been covering it a lot, too. I'm not happy about it. And I think more people should be outraged about it. And I think more people should be covering it because this is, I mean, it is outrageous. It's egregious. and I don't think people, when they take this into mind,

they don't understand, I guess, the history of the country, people have short memories.

And the issues that African-American faced and still do face.
