God, the Memphis Grizzlies are twenty and four in their last twenty four games.

Just beat the Warriors at home.

Not an infatic win but a pretty damn strong crunch time performance.

They have overtaken the Utah Jazz for third in the Western Conference.

Somehow that's a thing that has happened and they are asking forcing me and others to

ask all sorts of questions we didn't expect to be asking like, is this team already a

contender to help us answer that a guy that knows I needed to go right to Memphis.

I didn't need to go to someone who parachutes in.

I need to go someone from the city, the fabric of the city who knows this team up and down

and nobody knows them better than calmness for the daily Memphis and a guy who's writing

I've been reading for I don't even know how long anymore Chris Harrington how are you

my old friend.

Is that good to see you even if it's across the computer screen.

I keep saying I'm going to go visit Memphis and then bad things keep happening in the world

and I haven't been able to visit Memphis but my God what a team you have going there.

And let's just review the specifics other than the twenty and fourth thing.

They are fourth in offense for the season which I think has to rank is among the most

surprising stats of the whole season considering they still don't shoot threes or even shoot

the ball from anywhere all that well.

They're up to ninth in defense and I feel like they moved up twelve spots in the last

two weeks.
