This is smarter news. This is your scoop for the week ahead. We're giving you a scoop of news. So you're preps and ready for all these major news stories as we start off on another really busy week.

And we're going to work through each of those stories that I just mentioned in a moment.

Before I get to that, we have to mark the return of the Artemis astronauts.

We have a term in our crew that we coined a long time ago, the Joy Train. And you saw, I think you saw, sounds like you saw a lot of joy up there. There was a lot of joy. We're not

always on the joy train, this crew. There are many times we're not on the joy train, but we

are committed to getting back on the joy train as soon as we can. And that is a useful life

skill for any team trying to get something done. We're going to be back to Jeremy in a little bit at the end of this program because he does have some words of wisdom. But I just like that, the joy train, chew, chew. You saw the whole crew kind of do there. I just wanted to set the joy train for all of us today. In fact, I asked our insiders who are joining us on the live feed, if you'd like to join us, you become an insider too. but I thought that was pretty good perspective right you fall off the joy train you got to get back on

it the news can easily throw us off I know you got a lot going on in your personal lives as well

and so one of the missions that we have at smarter news is how do we get to the news so it feels

less like an attack and more like information again and that that's what we're really focused on today. So let's get started. You can decide if you're on the Joy Train or not. I think just knowing that there is a joy train is a positive thing. So we're going to start up Monday with the Joy Train. Maybe we're on and off at a few different times. Let's go and we're going to start with

some international news and we're going to finish up with some domestic news. But the international

news is really the top of the global headlines today. And what we're talking about is this headline.

Let me show you this because this is actually a misleading headline and I want to talk to you

about why. The headline here reads, U.S. begins blockade of Strait of Hormuz.

This is why this headline is wrong. According to Central Command, which was the latest

information we have on the activities by the U.S. government in this part of the world,

this is a blockade of ships entering or exiting Iranian ports. So remember, the Strait of Hormuz is a major

waterway in the Persian Gulf. I'm going to show it to you just in a moment here. And that waterway

is considered international waters. We need freedom of navigation there. That's what the United States
