I think heaven is going to be quite a surprise for us.

And I think the greatest shock is not going to be the gold streets.

The greatest shock is not going to be the mansions

that we will live in.

The greatest shock will be the glory and the greatness of Jesus.

And I imagine in eternity in our glorified bodies, finally and ultimately seeing Jesus as He is,

I have to wonder if we will walk up to one another and say, did you know?

And did you allow me to live the way I did?

Why did you not slap me on the side of the head and say, open your eyes and behold him? Tonight I want to speak for a few moments. I believe. him.

I believe I did receive an instruction from the Lord.

I told Pastor Michael I had a vivid dream last Sunday night.

And in the dream the Lord spoke to me and he said, do this and do that, and that was the dream.

And this morning, I said to you, I said to my wife, I'm going to check with Pastor Michael whether I should do this, and she says, why not just obey you the Lord?

Yes, ma'am. You're right. She's a wise and godly woman.

By trade, I am a professor. That is a difficult road to walk. And sometimes my gift is to frustrate students.

And I had a student this week that cried, grown student.

I teach a particular course, and the course is to prepare students for comprehensive exams in a PhD program, in theology.

And the students ask me, what can be asked?

The answer is pretty simple, anything.

And comprehensive exams means we test their knowledge from the first day of study until now.
