Shawnee, happy epiphany to you. That's right, although we don't celebrate the epiphany today in the United States. We don't. That's true. But you know what we are celebrating today? January 6th. Oh, today's our podcast anniversary. Podcast anniversary. 16 years. Crazy. Of podcasting. That's a long time. Three years for me. You were a seven-year-old when we started the podcast is that

right about how old were you uh what did you say 2010 i would have been 16 16 born in 94

that's so crazy that's so crazy yes so father mike and i recorded and published the first

episode which was about six minutes long on this day, 16 years ago. Now, the podcast is going to come out, I think, a few days after this. But today we are celebrating the anniversary. Crazy. No, I remember listening to this thing in high school because your brother, my youth minister was like, oh, my brother just launched a sweet podcast you got to listen to it and I'm like

six minutes I got time for that and now we're like hour long episodes but people still listen

people still listen that's great thank you for still listening um were you at the 10 year anniversary

six years ago I was that was a great night it was a great night yeah that was a lot of fun and a year ago

we all celebrated

with father mike and father jacob and father sean and um we have a couple friends who help us out

and we had a nice nice steak dinner and let to celebrate the 15th but 16th is kind of whatever so yeah

yeah we'll go hard at 20 we're hard at 20 we'll do something fun yeah so but it has been uh quite a

journey and um yeah we're still still doing

it people are like what do you talk about i'm like i don't know we always kind of have something to talk

about true so yeah yeah i'm sure we've recycled through some topics but hopefully we go deeper and we

learn more and have new angles and new insights but i love it, thanks for inviting me to become a host three years ago.

It's been a great joy.

It's been, it keeps me sharp as we've talked about.

It keeps you reading, keeps you studying, keeps you praying, which is good.
