Oh, welcome to the show. You know, we don't call it Hump Day anymore, I guess, since those

camel commercials went away. But here we are. It's Wednesday. We have a fabulous show packed up

for you today. Comedian Cristella Alonzo's coming on. We've got the scariest sound in the whole wide

world. And I thought we could kick off by talking a little bit about AI. So if I if I was a person

with like an agency where I'm using artificial intelligence to create advertising and images

and that sort of thing, here's what I would not do. I would not hijack the face and voice of

Tom Hanks because everybody knows who

Tom Hanks is and Tom Hanks knows who Tom Hanks is. And I don't know if you guys are aware of this,

but Tom Hanks had to go on his own Instagram and say, beware, there's a video out there promoting

some dental plan with an AI version of me.

I have nothing to do with it.

I did not agree to this.

I did not consent to this.

And not only did you hijack the world's most beloved actor in Tom Hanks, but Tom Hanks has been vocal about his worries about the use of

AI and movies and TV. Now, of course, he also agreed to play the train conductor in the

grim, uncanny Valley Polar Express movie, but that's different. He can send it to that. Hanks said that

about AI, we saw it coming. We saw there's going to be this ability to take zeros and ones inside

a computer and turn it into a face and a character. That's grown a billion fold since then,

and we see it everywhere.
