Because we believe in one God who has a coherent personality about him and one way of salvation through Jesus Christ alone and

faith in him for every people group in the world our faith is very threatening to spiritual or to religious pluralism.

How do people typically respond to the message of God's oneness and the oneness of his salvation.

That's the question that John Piper examines from Romans 3, 27 to 31 in this episode of Light and Truth.

I'm going to focus on verses 29 and 30. Or is God the God of the Jews only?

Is he not the God of the Gentiles also?

Yes, of the Gentiles also.

Since, indeed, God is one who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumsized through faith.

So there are three steps now to the argument for why we're going to go to the streets in a few minutes.

Let me develop them in reverse order than I see them in this text and build one on the other.

Here's number one. God is one. Number two, therefore he has one

way for all the nations to get right with him, namely justification by faith alone in Jesus

Christ alone.

Three, therefore he is not the God of the Jews only, he is the God of the nations.

He is the God of everyone will see.

He is the God of everybody that we will run into every religion and every ethnic minority or

majority he is God.

So those are the three.

Let me take them one at a time and show you from this text how they unfold.
