listeners rant cast and in fact the United Rant has gone from strengths to

strength in 2010 there lots Lots of people reading and

commenting at the moment which is really good to see. It's sad though isn't it? You

are profiting from the fact that Manchester United not having the best 2010 so far.

Neither on the pitch or in the boardroom it seems yeah on the picture pretty devastating

loss to Leeds and yeah pretty poor result at Birmingham City at the weekend

I don't Alex Ferguson said he was pleased but really one of the smallest sides in the

Premier League and you can't really be pleased you need to be

winning those games if you want to take the league title. Yeah I don't know how to

put this to you Ed but Sir Alex Ferguson was lying when he said he was pleased.

Yeah he's become quite good of that recently yeah. So perhaps we can

quickly talk about those games it seems so long ago that were in 2009 not only

a previous year but a previous decade.

Yeah and a previous era where we looked all right.

Whole 3-1 sort of flattered, united against Whole Roo.

Five-N-N-N- Five nil against Wigan was thoroughly convincing.

Yeah I didn't think United would particularly good at Hull.

They did what was needed.

Hull gave it a real good go and in the end, I guess individual quality won the day there and I mean you really

got to win those games and and Wigan well I think Roberto Martinez is slowly

becoming a Ferguson fan isn't he he
