Well, that is subjective, but the people at MIT

say they've got it figured out for you.

It is 935 with Kendall and Casey on 93 W IBC,

so they actually define the word comfortable which is interesting

because that is typically a subjective term but they say if you define it as

having a monthly income needed to cover the 50 30 20 budget

which means 50% of your earnings go to necessities like housing and utility costs

30% go to your discretionary spending and then 20% goes to savings and

investments they have the number of what you need to live comfortable here in

Indiana.

All right let's do this with a disclaimer too. I would bet a sizable portion of the

populace goes nowhere near saving 20% of their paycheck every month.
