On February 23rd, 1983, a Jane Doe in St. Louis was killed. And even to this day, no one knows who she is or who brutally killed her.

On February 28, 1983, a car broke down in St. Louis, Missouri, and the two men inside, decided to start searching the nearby area for a pipe that they thought might fix the problem.

Finding an abandoned apartment building on Clemens Avenue, the men searched the top floor and, after coming up empty-handed, decided to

head down to the basement to see if they would have any luck down there. One man, hoping to

illuminate the dark space, flicked on his lighter. And immediately after the flame ignited,

both men went tearing upstairs as fast as they could and called the police.

When the light came on, they were met with the horrific sight of a small, decapitated body.
