Maniac murder cult is what MKY stand for.

Like you said, a bunch of random other names that they're known under, but MKY is the main

one for English.

And it's a group that was originally formed in Dineepro, Ukraine, and spread to Russia.

And basically, it's a group of individuals who were involved in national socialist skinhead violent

extremism, but really the type of street brutality of

attacking individuals who appeared to look like immigrants or the elderly or those that they

perceive to be the weak and vulnerable of society. Their key theme, though, or their key aesthetic that they got was they'd filmed this in black and white,

and they put a type of music called horrorcore on top of the background when they edited it to give it this type of very aggressive feel.

And they started posting these things on sites like 2chan in 2018 and on the VK, the Russian version of Facebook.

And they started getting traction within some of the violent extremists and skinhead communities, particularly the accelerations ones, based on the aesthetic and the brutality of the videos that they put forward.

And, you know, it was out of this group that the group was formed.

Right. So this kind of started with one person, right?

It did. It started with an individual who went by Iegor Krasnov.

Igor is the initial leader of Maniac's murder cult,

and he claimed that he was a Ukrainian national,

and he was there to, you know, spread a message of hate and violence.
