This is a Salaback Church podcast.

Today we're in the fourth week of a message series that we've loved here. It's called

Worthy of It All. And this has been a great series for us as a church. We've been talking about

the subject of worship, that God has designed and made every one of us for worship.

And we see this evidence in every facet of our lives. We see it where we pour out our energy,

our time, our money. We're constantly pouring out our lives. But the only one who is worthy

of our lives being poured out is the creator of the universe,

that God is worthy of our worship.

And so the definition that we've been looking at for worship is that worship is my response

to the living God.

So when I sing songs or I surrender my life or I serve, all of these are different ways

that we can worship God as a response to his love

for us. Now, today in this message, I want to talk about a subject that when I throw the word out,

it might not be a great word in your vocabulary. You might not think it's a positive word,

but it's a biblical word, and it's a very important word for how we live our lives. It's the word sacrifice.

And sometimes when it comes to sacrifice, we oftentimes think about the things that we have to give

up and we only think about that which we're letting go of. And today, what I want to focus on with

sacrifice, my message is titled, The Sacrifice You Won't Regret.

I want to talk about how often we sacrifice the wrong thing, and we don't receive the kind of life that God intends for us to receive.

And I want to share it like this.

So this last week, Stacey and I, we're in our garage, and we're cleaning up our garage now.

And we've been here in Southern California for 16 months and now we're going for it.
