A series on the sacred Romance, but the unique offering we have, we went down in the basement

and we found some audio cassette tapes that are recordings that Brent Curtis and I did back in

1997 when we were beginning to write and teach and speak on what would become

the book, The Sacred Romance.

I think most of you know the story that Brent and I had a

counseling practice together. We were best friends. It was kind of a

Jonathan and David story. We had a dream of a ministry that would become ransomed heart.

It did not exist at the time.

And the very first weekend that we held our very first men's event that would become wild at heart, Brent

was killed in a climbing accident.

And that story and that journey is told in other places, including the book, The Journey of Desire,

now just titled Desire.

But I know that many of you know Brent's name, I know that many of you have loved his writing in the sacred romance, but have never heard his voice, never heard his teaching.

And so this, I think, is going to be a real treat for all of us. We're going to play here as a 10-part series,
