0:38.2	here's today's. Let me start by saying I like Rob Bell. You didn't think I was going to say that
0:56.7	did you? As a part of some research I'm doing on progressive Christianity I've
1:00.8	spent quite a bit of time with him lately, listening to lectures, interviews, and
1:05.2	reading his books. Of all the progressive authors I'm currently reading, Rachel held Evans,
1:09.9	Richard Rohrer, Brian McLaren, Steve Chalk, and Pete Ens, among others, I enjoy Bell the most.
1:16.0	This doesn't mean I agree with much of what he says, but he's articulate, clear, engaging,
1:21.0	and seems like a genuinely nice person.
1:23.0	I recently read Bells,
1:25.0	What is the Bible?
1:26.0	How an ancient library of poems, letters, and stories
1:30.0	can transform the way you think and feel about everything.
1:34.0	That's one heck of a title.
1:35.6	With chapters like Moses and his moisture and smoking firepots and the fat closed in over the
1:42.2	sword, Bell's creativity and excitement about his work is palpable.
1:46.4	One thing he excels at is storytelling and bringing in contextual clues that help the reader
