To them it's Agnew H. Johnston Public School,

an elementary school around the corner from Dennis Franklin Cromartie High.

It's named after the late Agnew Herbert Johnston,

who is a prominent local minister for over 50 years.

Johnston was a high-ranking official in the Presbyterian Church of Canada and a respected

member of the Thunder Bay establishment. This is a story about a different Agnew

Johnston, his son, public prosecutor Jay Agnew Johnston.

Agnew Johnston was a, he was a crowd attorney, an assistant crown attorney.

An excellent crown, I thought, basically a straight shooter, which you don't get that often

in the court system.

Well, he went to stray, I guess.

Agnew had some difficulties.

I don't know if it was a drinking problem or a drug problem

and it led to bad behavior involving young women.

Ang New Johnson was a crown attorney but he liked weird sex and he was perverted.

He also developed the cocaine habit and he became a very bad alcoholic.

I was driving the vehicle and I was pregnant with my son and I was 16.
