I was ready to start doing this program about midday Saturday.

And it really got ramped up as we moved into Saturday night and Sunday.

Watching the news cycle move, we will have extensive commentary and take your reaction, of course, to the president's visit to Greenville, North Carolina, where he was attending the North Carolina Republican Party gathering and endorsed somebody that was a bit of a surprise, I think, to the entire country and of the political

world. We'll break that down. We also will look at some of the great stuff he had to say

about holding China to account. But tongues are wagging right now because of what it was

that Senator Joe Manchin, Democrat from West Virginia, said yesterday.

Well, he wrote it, let's be honest.

He wrote it in an op-ed piece that appeared in the Charleston Gazette Mail, published on Sunday. Senator

Manchin said he plans to vote against the House Pass for the People Act. We know that as

HR1. It was the 800-page monstrosity, or it is the 800-page monstrosity that would fundamentally transform

the way we conduct elections in this country, essentially federalizing elections,

essentially getting rid of voter ID requirements, and most notably, it would create a brand-, if you can imagine, a brand new entitlement

for people who want to run for office.
