Summary

In any season of life, it is easy to get lost in what we do not have. More than ever, we get to take hold of what God has given us for the sake of those around us. God is always at work and beauty surrounds us. Do we see it? As a tribe, we believe that we are never limited in our ability to bring hope, love, and faith. Instead of becoming paralyzed by what we have lost, we are choosing to be mobilized by what we've gained.

To create momentum as a community, we can use the vehicle of joy. I any situation, there is beauty and wonder to behold. People need to experience the presence of Jesus in us and we can express it through the joy we have in any circumstance. We need to walk so profoundly in the presence of God that wherever we are Jesus is present and undeniable.

Out of Zechariah 8, Pastor Erwin McManus reminds us that nothing can stop us from doing good in the world. We can live lives so profoundly impacted by God that we cannot help but create a rumor of God’s goodness everywhere we go. What if those around us asked to journey with us simply because God’s work in our lives was undeniable? This is the life God has called us to.

0:15.0	but we're all in our own separate locations.
0:18.0	And I've had so many people ask me the question,
0:21.0	when is the church going to come back together?
0:23.0	When are we going to gather together as Mosaic?
0:25.2	And others are a little more intense saying,
0:27.1	why aren't you defying the government?
0:28.5	Why aren't you going against the oppressive state
0:30.9	and calling us all to come back to church together.
0:34.0	And I want to just take a moment and just tell you that, one, I miss everyone.
0:39.0	I would love to see us all gathering, celebrating,
0:42.8	worshiping, hugging, singing, laughing,
0:46.5	and diving into the scriptures together.
0:48.8	I would love for us to be able to create a space once again
0:51.6	where people who are searching for God and trying to make sense of life and who just need healing and encouragement could come and join us.
0:58.6	I think it's so important and so critical and I hope that soon this essential practice of gathering together
1:05.6	will once again become our reality. At the same time I want you to realize a couple of
1:12.0	things. First of all, Mosaic is a part of a
1:14.5	broader community. We do not see ourselves as disconnected from the world around
1:19.7	us. We see ourselves as a part of the community, a part of the greater humanity.
