So we're in a series now entitled No Fear. It's a mini series. It's only three weeks long and then we have a four week series after that called Defiding Moments.

But we're just talking about how we can have no fear. We based it on Psalm 46. We read that last week.

God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble.

Therefore, we will not fear, though the mountains be cast in the sea and the earth is

dissolving or begins to dissolve. If the earth starts dissolving and the mountains

jump in the ocean we're not going to have any fear because God is our refuge.

And if you weren't here, the reason I use Oreos is because I've talked about,

that we can have other refuges other than God,

but none of them work. Any refuge that you have, food, drugs, alcohol, sex, any type of

immorality, even our minds can become a refuge, intellectualizing, figuring it out, thinking about it,

rationalizing it, self-exaltation, self-promotion.

You know, if you ever noticed this, but you think sometimes you get around someone

and you say, you know, sometimes that person just seems to be a braggard.

I mean, not all the time, but just sometimes.

Well, here's what's happening.

That person is going through a

difficult time and he is self-exalting himself that's his refuge during that time

so what we talked about last week was any refuge we have other than God is a bondage and a prison.

God is our only refuge in street.

Now in numbers 35, God is giving them laws to live by when they enter the Promise Land.

And Number 35, it's a long passage we're going to read today, but I want you to stay with

me, all right? And we're not even going to read today, but I want you to stay with me, all right?
