I'm glad to see that I'm here alive to see it passed right in front of me. So it's really touching at me. I could feel the chill in my body, you know, so it's amazing.

Thousands filled these narrow cobbled streets that snake around Windsor Castle. Some wore tiaras, other dressed in suits made

of the Union flag, but everybody in a wonderful humor. Even more people fill the

grassed areas of the long walk. Now that's the 4 kilometer avenue just across town that runs up to the castle entrance.

And so many people camped out, some overnight, others for a few days to get their favorite vantage point.

The story of this wedding day starts in the very early hours. Just as the sun begins to rise, we can

actually see the mist lift off the grass and the town began to fill with a sense of expectation.
