I want to talk about a couple of things. What's his timeline to win a title? Now that we're like halfway through his rookie year, What do we know about him?

What's his ceiling as an NBA player?

Has that changed since we talked about?

rookie of the year so let's start with that right now cooper flag was named to the all he was named

to the rising stars team which i think is absolutely awesome cool to see cooper Flag get that honor. He was the number one pick. And so obviously you hope that he's going to be there, but we've seen number one picks in the past not really pan out and be like part of the top group of rookies in their class, right? You think about, you know, DeAndre Aten, you think about Zachary Ruchas. like these guys have kind of fallen off from where they were at the top of their spot after they got drafted.

But Cooper Flagg joins a bunch of names that you've heard a ton of this season. Concanipple, Derek Queen, Cedric Coward, Dillan, Dillan, did get in there. Trey Johnson from the Wizards, Yeager Diomond from the Nets, V.J. Edgecombe, obviously, from the Sixers,

Jeremiah Fears, from the Pelicans and Colin Murray Boyles from the Raptors. They also did the sophomores were added in there, and then the G-League guys were in there. Any notable G-Leod guys? And not really Young. Hanson is in there, which I think is pretty fun. No other Mavericks or no other, like, Texas legends got, got in there. No Mavericks made it into the second year either. And so with Cooper Flag, it's an honor for him to be put in the rising stars. It's going to be an interesting thing to see they do this like round robin tournament kind of thing. Sometimes it's fun. We'll see if, we'll see if Flag takes it seriously or not because we've seen it in the past, like with Luca, he did not take All-Star Weekend seriously at all. And so we all got ready to watch All-Star weekend. And then we went and watched the Luka's just messing around. Save for that one half-court shot over Trey Young in the Rising Stars game. Or was it the All-Star game. Like that was the only thing that he ever took serious was that one shot and the whole rest of it he didn't. So we'll see if Cooper Flagg does. But I wanted to use this moment to talk about Cooper Flagg being rookie of the year. Because if you talk to a Mabbs fan or if you are a man, if you talk to yourself, you're a MabS fan, you think, well, he's got it in the bag.

If you talk to a Hornets fan, they're like, oh, it's, it's Connibble.

I mean, just look at the, look at the numbers.

Look at, look at what he's doing. And Concanipal is having an incredible, incredible season. Absolutely. Cannot deny Con Caniple having a great season. and we'll talk about it. We'll break it down.

And I want to get through some of the differences between the two.

up with a case for, all right, this is Cooper Flagg's case and I do have one. But the case is,

it's really close between Cooper Flag and his former teammate from Duke, Con Cinnipple.

Like, Fanduel doesn't have it set. Like, Fanduel has Cooper Flagg minus 500, meaning you have to bet $500 in order to win $100, the crazy odds. For ConCinnibble, he's plus 400. So you have to bet $100 and you win $400, right? Those odds are way better for you if you end up betting on Con Cinnibble. So's a pretty big gap. At one point, though, it was minus 900 for flag plus 900 for concanipal. It may have been wider at some point, but that's the widest that I've seen it. And I obviously check it like every week. And so Bandwell kind of thinks that it's decided. The next player after that is Vijay Edgecom plus $2,500. I mean, you bet $100 and you win $2,500. You win $2,000 if you, if Vijay Edgecom is the rookie of the year. And so that one is just completely out the window where you go, okay, there's no chance at this point. And then the next closest is Derek Queen plus 10,000. And for some reason, you bet a hundred

bucks on Derek Queen to win rookie of the year. And he does. He pulls it off for some reason. You win $10,000. The odds for that are insane, obviously. And so it's really just flag and concanibble that have this chance to do it. And if you look at them across the board, you're like, all right, Well, let's look at these stats.
